The Calendar Boys are here!

Women'sinstitute 'eat your heart out', here in Buxworth we have our very-own calendar lads as Buggy Football team get their kit off in the true 'Full Monty' tradition.

Come on ladies get your purses out and for an incredibly low price of just £8.75 including postage you can feast your eyes on the best that Buxworth has to offer. Unfortunately for us all, one or two 'slightly' older club supporters decided to get in on the act, so if you are of a slightly nervous disposition you may want to have a friend check the calendar out before you view it. Thankfully Brian PIke doesn't feature as I am sure that Phil and Terry will be more than enough to put you of your dinner.

Buxworth Football Club have been raising funds for a couple of years now with the aim that new changing rooms can be built to replace the old timber hut that the players currently use. The old hut was built in the 1960’s and is now in a dilapidated state as the photograph shows.

Following two successful sponsored walks we are pleased to announce our latest fund raiser. Inspired by the film Calendar Girls and with the sporting cooperation of the players, manager and supporters as well as the kind support of twelve Sponsors we are producing an A3 size 2006 Calendar.

So whether you are just happy to support the appeal, need a calendar for next year or simply want to see the Lads with their kit off then..
