The Navigation inn is situated at the historic Bugsworth Basin in the village of Buxworth
 in the heart of the scenic High Peak, part of Derbyshire's Peak District.

Once owned by Pat Phoenix, Coronation Street's Elsie Tanner, The Navigation became an Inn over two hundred years ago, and still retains its original character and atmosphere.

Accommodation is available - there are five double rooms  and a large family room, all rooms are en-suite.

Food is served in the bar, restaurant or outside on the large patio. There is an extensive and varied menu to choose from as well as the daily 'specials' board.

In the bar you will find a wide selection of beers & ales, the guest ales are
changed regularly so there's always something new to take your fancy.

The Navigation Inn bar is open all day - every day.

The Navigation Inn is dog friendly - dogs are welcome in the bar and snug, but not in the dining areas.

The Navigation Inn is available for functions such as birthday parties, christenings, weddings and funerals.

Association of Buxworth & Clayton "ABCers"

Buxworth is twinned with town of Clayton, California which was founded by Joel Clayton. Joel was born in Bugsworth (as the village was named at the time) and emigrated to America in 1837.
